At the forefront of my thoughts is why anyone with even minimal knowledge of how government works, would want to elect a clown like Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Obama, aka Barry Dunham, aka Barack Dunham, aka - your local United States Socialist. Maybe the country will wake up and realize one day that socialism has never worked, will NOT work and shouldn't work, nor should it be tried in a country whose founding purpose was to get away from socialistic policies of the "old country", that being England's feudal system.
McCain is not perfect or even good for that matter, but he is a free market, capitalistic thinker. Last time I checked, Free Market Enterprise, Small Businesses and Capitalism is what got us to this point as the World's Lone Superpower.
We'll see how this economic meltdown plays out but I would expect the dollar to collapse before its all over and done. We are in too deep a hole financially to simply try to use a "ladder" to get out. Never mind, there are many factors that caused this including but not limited to: Barney Frank, Hank Paulson, Bill Clinton (who put the Comm. Rein. Act on Steroids), Ben Bernanke, Jimmy Carter (See Community Reinvestment Act of 1977) , Chris Dodd, House Finance Committee, numerous CEO's who swindled money knowing the companies were tanking, ACORN and NAACP - both for lobbying our congress for lending to people who could never afford the money to begin with and the idiots who thought they could borrow more money than they could afford and hoped the payment would magically get paid. Shame on all of you!
On a lighter note, Auburn is bad. Very bad. We lost to Vandy. Auburn never loses to Vandy.
At least we have Arkansas this Saturday. Thats as close as a sure win as we will get. =)
